Challenge
Proxa urgently needed to relocate and recommission a pilot plant clarifier skid originally from a different mine site, to instead a new location in Western Australia. The plant had to be operational-ready within a week to avoid commercial constraints to our client’s customer. The existing system was outdated, lacked proper auxiliary integration, and required complete redesign to meet the new site’s scope.
Solution
IoTics delivered a ground-up rebuild of the clarifier’s control system, including:

Full electrical redesign and panel manufacture

New PLC and HMI programming

Integration of 9 pumps (6 VSD-controlled, 3 DOL)

Comms, electrical drawings, FAT testing, and onsite commissioning

VPN-enabled remote support capabilities
The team engineered a system that not only met the original requirements but adapted to live changes during commissioning, including updates to the control philosophy — without delays.
